Wandering and Desire: Society’s Need for Critical Thinking 2018-2020 research thesis
This research attempts to acknowledge society’s need for critical thinking. Through wide research of philosophical, literary, sociological, and aesthetic texts I tried to understand the principles behind the act of Wandering. Through the second part of the research, I attempted to define the way modern individuals act, and therefore discover the social forces that form their actions.
Finally, the third part explores the personal experience of physical and mental wandering, the former expressed through painting and the latter during the pre-sleeping state. "Wandering through drawing", an automated form of writing in the artistic realm, is depicted below.
